Uranus in a cyan tone in the open sky, with a luminous loop of retrograde motion, the constellation Gemini as two starry figures and a point of light between the clouds.

The planet’s entry is in Uranus in astrology.

A planetary retrograde does not reverse in the Southern Hemisphere.

Dates

Brasília time. Minutes and seconds vary between ephemerides; use the dates and the degrees as a reference.

  • Retrograde station: 10 September 2026, mid-afternoon (around 3:40 p.m.), at about 5°42′ of Gemini.
  • Direct station: 8 February 2027, morning (around 9:20 a.m.), at about 1°41′ of Gemini.
  • The retreat stays inside Gemini.

What is Uranus retrograde in Gemini?

Uranus is the planet of rupture, of freedom and of what does not fit the script. Retrograde is the apparent motion of retreat, between the retrograde station and the direct station. It is not a defect of the sky. It is an interval for reviewing what you called liberation.

In Gemini, Uranus stirs speech, information, study, the neighbourhood of ideas, the habit of opening ten tabs and finishing no conversation. In the retrograde, the novelty that returns is usually an idea you abandoned halfway, a cut made on impulse, or a boredom you treat with more noise.

Questions of the cycle: where I confuse freedom with flight; which truth I tell only halfway; which rupture I need to slow down before I carry it out.

What this is not

It is not an invitation to blow up work, home or a bond because Uranus asked. It is also not an order to stay still until February. Rupture without review becomes only noise. The retrograde asks you to hear the snap before you obey it.

In daily life, while it lasts

Close a conversation or a study that was left halfway before you open another. Uranus in Gemini loves the new tab; the retrograde asks for the tab that was already open. If the wish to break a job, a home or a bond appears at night, write it down and reread it by day. A rupture that still makes sense 48 hours later deserves a plan. One that only makes sense at the peak of stimulus can wait until February without being cowardice. News, a group and a burst of messages count as noise: choose one source and finish what it actually said.

Ritual notes

Materials. A violet or light-blue candle. Paper and a pen. A small object that stands for too much stimulus (headphones, a paper with the list of open tabs, the phone switched off for a few minutes). A window or some air. A light incense, short.

Altar. Centre: the candle. On one side, the object of the noise. On the other, a blank sentence, which will become one idea only. No talisman for hacking another person.

Ethics. No magic to shock, expose or unsettle someone. If the wish to break comes with panic or strong insomnia, the rite does not replace health care.

Step by step (25–35 minutes, solo, phone away)

  1. Enter. I enter the time of Uranus retrograde to hear the snap, not to obey it on the spot.
  2. Light. Uranus recedes in Gemini. I review speech, idea and rupture.
  3. Three sentences. The freedom that is flight. The conversation or the study left halfway. The rupture that can wait a week without betraying me.
  4. Four minutes of silence. No music. Write down only what remains when the noise drops. One sentence.
  5. Choice. Of the three, keep one concrete review for the next seven days (finish a text, cancel an impulsive commitment, say one short truth).
  6. Offering. Read the chosen sentence to the flame. Keep the paper. Offer air: open the window for a moment and give thanks. An offering is recognition, not payment.
  7. Close. Put out the candle. Do not post the decision at once. Reread it the next day, with a cool head.

Ten-minute version: candle, phone off, three sentences, one review only, window open.

Quick answers

  • Uranus — the planet of freedom, of rupture and of the unforeseen.
  • Uranus retrograde — a phase for reviewing what you call liberation; from 10 September 2026 to 8 February 2027.
  • Gemini — the sign of speech, idea, study and exchange.
  • Retrograde station — 10 September 2026, in Gemini.
  • Direct station — 8 February 2027, still in Gemini.

May Uranus retrograde in Gemini give clarity back to what is a true idea and to what was only a hurry to change.
