The Hare Moon, or Flower Moon, arrives with the energy of Beltane, the most magical of the Sabbats. The union of the Goddess and the God balances the energies of our hemisphere, making the earth fertile and vibrant.
It is a night favourable to workings of love, fertility, and beauty. This includes self-love, for only those who know how to love and accept themselves can love fully. It is a good time to uplift, beautify, and love yourself.

CELEBRATING THE ESBAT
Decorate and open the circle. Pay respects to the Goddess with a poem or song, ask for her blessing, and give thanks. Mix the honey, egg white, and yoghurt and apply it to your face. Leave it for ten minutes while meditating on how you can improve outwardly and inwardly, and on your qualities. Place the quartz in the cauldron and say:
From the safe dwelling, from the deep lake,
From sleep the Tuatha rise into the world.
Sometimes here, sometimes there,
Whatever I desire, my face will show.Beauty, charisma, sensuality,
I truly capture everyone's attention.
In form and face, absolute perfection;
My image never loses its attraction.I disturb thoughts, I dance in the mind
Of the one whom my smile suddenly captivates.
All will fall in love with me,
For what I desire is what they will see.The face of a Goddess, eyes aglow,
Beautiful and shining hair,
This glamour makes me what I have always wished to be.
Wash your face in the water and remove only the excess with the towel. Thank the Goddess and her Ancestors. Put on joyful music and dance like the wind, celebrating your body. Eat and drink the Gods' feast; leave their portion on the altar for three hours or until the candles burn completely, then bury the food. It is done!
